Then we have an exciting trainee position for you. We are looking for social- and health care assistant trainees for Køge Municipality, and we guarantee a trainee placement throughout the training.

Admission requirements Basic course 2 aimed at SOSU.

Who are we? Køge Municipality continuously hires and trains social- and health care assistant trainees.

Our practicum sites in home care, at nursing homes and in social psychiatry focus on creating good learning environments, by the students becoming a natural part of the team.

In each practicum you will have a supervisor who ensures that you reach your practicum goals through weekly guidance conversations and planned study time.

We also focus on a good introduction, so you as a trainee feel completely safe with the tasks you will perform.

With us you will get a broad insight into the position as a social- and health care assistant, and your tasks and areas of responsibility will develop in line with your training program.

As a social- and health care assistant trainee you enter an education program that alternates between practicum periods and school stays at one of ZBC's departments.

The practicum periods will take place in home care, in nursing homes in Køge Municipality, at hospitals and in psychiatry.

During the entire training, the working hours are 37 hours per week, and you can expect evening and weekend shifts.

When you enter an educational contract with Køge Municipality, you will receive salary throughout the training.

Salary terms will be in accordance with the current agreement with FOA www.foa.dk .

If you are +25 years old, you will receive adult trainee pay.

Køge Municipality is your employer throughout the training.

In the training you will acquire competencies in the cross-disciplinary collaboration around the citizen in relation to personal care, activities and involvement of relatives.

You will become familiar with

• Working with citizens with physical and mental conditions.
• Working with holistic care.
• Collaborating跨 professional disciplines.
• Working with rehabilitation, preventive and health-promoting initiatives.
• Collaborating with citizens and relatives in difficult life situations.

When you graduate as a social- and health care assistant, there will be a need for you, and Køge Municipality has a wide range of positions you can fill.

You can also use the education as a springboard to, among others, nurse, physiotherapist or occupational therapist.
