Social- and Health Care Assistant sought for Brovst Free Care Home

We are now seeking a social- and health care assistant for one of our somatic wards.

Brovst Free Care Home is located in quiet surroundings on the outskirts of Brovst. With us it’s about people. About calm, presence and dignity – even on the difficult days. We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in working with people, and who is passionate about creating safe surroundings and good moments in daily life.

We have 30 places (of which 20 are somatic places) and we attach great importance to the individual resident’s well-being. We also offer a social, professional and not least exciting workplace, with various activities for our residents and colleagues

We imagine that you

• Are trained as a social- and health care assistant and have experience from the elderly care sector.
• Can remain calm and keep an overview, even when the day does not go exactly as planned.
• Are good at collaborating with colleagues and the volunteers who bring life to the house.
• Take responsibility and actively contribute to both professionalism and job satisfaction.
• Can document and convey your observations in a professional and proper manner.

Your tasks include, among other things

• 32-36 hours, primarily day shifts but with the possibility of some evening shifts (we are receptive to possible placement of these) - fixed weekend shifts every other weekend
• Care and practical assistance based on the residents' own resources.
• Rehabilitative efforts and early identification.
• Close collaboration with the SSA and the nurse.
• Keeping your professional knowledge up to date.
