About the job

Do you want to work with holistic authority case management and help create coherent interventions for young people with mental health difficulties, vulnerability, or autism spectrum disorders? Then we have a maternity leave position in UPA 2, where you will be part of a professionally engaged work community with a focus on citizen involvement

In UPA 2 we work with young people aged 18-29. We process new applications and follow up on existing interventions in close dialogue with the citizens, their networks and relevant partners.

About UPA 2

UPA stands for vulnerability, mental health difficulties and autism spectrum disorders. In UPA 2 we work purposefully with young people who need support in one or more of these areas.

We work, among other things, with support under the Danish Social Services Act sections 82, 84, 85, 97, 103, 104, 105, 107 and 108.

In our work we base on the individual citizen's wishes, needs and overall life situation. We listen to what the citizen wants for their life, and work with the citizen to find solutions that support development, independence and quality of life.

Your role as a caseworker

As a social worker in UPA 2 you will work with holistic authority case management and coordination of interventions. You will have your own caseload and follow citizens through assessment, decisions and follow-up.

Your primary tasks will be to

  • advise and guide citizens and their relatives
  • assess and evaluate the citizen's needs, among other things using the Adult Assessment Method (VUM)
  • process applications and make decisions on support under the Social Services Act
  • develop the citizen's plan in collaboration with the citizen and relevant actors
  • follow up on existing interventions
  • coordinate cross-disciplinary collaboration and refer to relevant services

We are looking for someone who

  • is trained as a social worker or social facilitator
  • can translate legislation and professional assessments into clear and reasoned decisions
  • meets citizens and relatives with respect, empathy and professionalism
  • works in a structured manner and can maintain an overview of different cases, deadlines and collaboration interfaces
  • has an eye for the citizen's overall life situation and can coordinate interventions across sectors
  • communicates clearly and understandably both verbally and in writing

It is an advantage if you have experience with authority work in the adult area or knowledge of the target group, but the most important is that you want to bring your social work expertise into play and actively contribute to the professional community.

Why you should choose us

With us you become part of a professionally engaged work community where we help each other solve complex cases and create good solutions for the citizens.

We offer

  • ongoing sparring with professional coordinators and colleagues
  • opportunity for professional development and deepening
  • close interdisciplinary collaboration with internal and external actors
  • a workplace where we prioritise professional reflection, quality and citizen involvement
  • introduction to the tasks and the target group
  • colleagues who value both professionalism, collaboration and a good working day

Salary and employment terms

The position is a maternity leave cover for 37 hours per week with start on 1 January 2027. The position is expected to last 10-11 months.

Salary and employment terms are set according to the applicable collective agreement for social workers, social facilitators and/or HK collective agreement for administration and IT and within the framework of local pay setting.

The workplace is Telehuset, Borups Allé 43, 2200 København N. The workplace is close to the metro at Nuuks Plads, S-train at Fuglebakken Station and has good cycling connections.
