Would you like to lead our preventive initiatives in the Adult Social Care area?

We are looking for a day-to-day manager who is passionate about early intervention, rehabilitation and communities – and who will develop our preventive offerings together with staff and managerial colleagues.

In the Adult Social Area in Furesø Municipality, we are undergoing an organizational development process, where we aim to strengthen the coherence between prevention, rehabilitation and the support we offer to adult citizens.

We are therefore seeking a day-to-day manager who will be responsible for our overall preventive effort, including open counseling, early and time-limited support pathways, and community-oriented offers.

You will become part of a department with experienced staff and strong professional competencies, where we build on what already works and together develop new opportunities for citizens.

Prevention with the citizen in focus

We want to create interventions that help citizens early, strengthen their own resources and prevent the need for more extensive support.

This means we work with recovery-oriented rehabilitation, the citizen's own goals and possibilities to master everyday life.

As the day-to-day manager you will help further develop our preventive offers and ensure coherence between open counseling, individual and group-based pathways, communities and the other initiatives in the adult area.

You will play an important role in developing flexible and accessible services where we use our combined professional competencies in the best possible way.

Leadership we build together

You will be responsible for daily staff leadership, professional quality and operation of the area.

We expect you to be close to the practice of the staff, create clear frameworks and support a work environment characterized by trust, responsibility and professional development.

For us, good leadership means both being able to set direction and to co-create solutions with others.

Therefore you should be keen to involve staff, bring their experiences into play and create shared ownership of the development of the area.

At the same time you must be able to make decisions, prioritize resources and ensure that our initiatives have the desired quality and impact.

• have knowledge of preventive and rehabilitative interventions in the social sector

• are clear, inclusive and can translate ambitions into concrete practice.

You will become part of a strong leadership community

You report to the department head and become part of a leadership group with three day-to-day leaders who together have responsibility for the department's development and operation.

We believe that the best solutions are created across boundaries. Therefore we expect you to take responsibility for your own area and contribute actively to the joint leadership work.

You will have the opportunity to influence the development of the preventive initiatives and help create services that make a real difference to citizens' opportunities for an independent and meaningful life.

Practical information

The position is full-time with start date: February 1, 2027.

Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement and the principles of local pay setting.
