Specialty Lead Nurse for the Quality & Competence Section, AUH

The Department of Quality and Competence, the Sterilization Department at AUH, is seeking a nurse in charge of the specialty.

With us you will become part of a specialized team consisting of 11 dedicated employees, where patient safety is always at the center. In our department you plan and prioritize your tasks in close collaboration with partners inside and outside the department. Now we are looking for a nurse who will help to create high quality and safety for patient safety – perhaps you?

Examples of your tasks and areas of responsibility

• Linking between the Sterilization Department, the clinical departments at AUH and a broad range of suppliers
• teaching, communication and guidance in handling, reprocessing and use of surgical reusable instruments internally and externally
• quality assurance, evaluation and testing of new and existing instruments in collaboration with relevant partners, including possible participation in tender processes
• procurement and implementation of instruments, as well as implementation of everything from workflow descriptions to processes related to maintenance and overall operation
• initiate and support quality development and improvement of practice, and contribute to the preparation and implementation of e-Dok
• tasks related to Region Midtjylland's Sustainability Strategy; conversion of single-use to reusable equipment in close collaboration with the Sustainability team, relevant operating departments and the Sterilization Department's other units.

Employment terms, application and start

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. The employment is conditional on a satisfactory child certificate and a satisfactory authorization.
