Specialist doctor / senior consultant sought for Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic Gl. Kongevej, Glostrup Psychiatric Center

We are seeking an engaged specialist/consultant physician, who has experience in psychiatry. Do you have good collaboration skills, and are you interested in helping shape the development of outpatient psychiatry and psychiatric treatment of a wide range of psychiatric disorders - then you are our new colleague for FACT!

We consist of 2 F-ACT teams, and are located in attractive premises by the lakes with catchment area corresponding to Valby/Hvidovre, and share the building with the Psychiatric Center Amager. Both teams are built up with the same core structure and together handle treatment for about 450 patients distributed across 2 different municipalities. The staff group consists of experienced nurses, experienced social and healthcare assistants, occupational therapist, social workers, psychologists, recovery mentors and a well-functioning secretariat.

The two FACT teams are led by chief nurse Mai Hansen.

Your tasks and areas of responsibility

As an outpatient consultant physician, you will become the fixed physician in one team. Here you are responsible for leading patient pathways, and together with the team coordinator lead the team.

We offer psychiatric treatment for adults with psychiatric diagnoses within all categories, but with a particular focus on psychotic disorders. There are also patient pathways where patients have a legal order. In addition, we focus on integrated dual-diagnosis treatment for patients with a substance use disorder and are in full swing to implement this.

In the past year there has been a focus on using manualized pathways for patients with non-psychotic disorders, so this patient group receives a defined and targeted pathway. There are trained staff to handle DAT and KAT treatment individually and in groups.

The work includes; supporting good treatment, involvement of relatives, and collaboration with the other units under the Psychiatric Center Glostrup as well as our 2 cooperating municipalities Hvidovre and Copenhagen (Valby).

We continuously have younger doctors in main training programs, which it is also expected that you participate in ongoing supervision of.

Salary and employment conditions

The position is permanent full-time. Start date from 01.03.27 or by agreement.

Depending on the position, employment will be in accordance with;

• the collective agreement for consultants, including the provisions of the collective agreement on working time with salary placement as consultant (As a consultant in Region Hovedstaden Psychiatry you are on-call obligated).
• the collective agreement for subordinate physicians, including the provisions of the collective agreement on working time with salary placement as a specialist. Psychiatric specialists currently participate in the SIF scheme at present 1-2 shifts per month.

The region is a 24/7 area, and you can be planned for shifts at other times as needed in accordance with the rules in the current working time agreement/working time rules in the agreement.

Physically we are located at Gammel Kongevej 33, Copenhagen close to the lakes.
