About the job

The cyber threat is serious, and Denmark is hit daily by cyber attacks. At the Agency for Civil Protection and Emergency Management, we work to ensure a strong defence against the threat. Therefore we are looking for new colleagues who will contribute to building strong and efficient processes for the agency's overall cyber effort, including incident management, monitoring, analysis and communication.

Your everyday life with us

The Agency for Civil Protection and Emergency Management (SAMSIK) is in the process of building a new operational cyber capability. A key part of this construction is the development of coherent, well-documented and effective processes that support daily operations, incident management and collaboration across the organisation and with external partners.

We are seeking a specialist who will play a central role in developing, describing and further developing the processes in the operational cyber capability.

You will help develop the operational cyber organisation's workflows and operating model, ensure that the processes meet international standards such as ISO 27001 and SIM3, and translate them into concrete workflows that are supported by the organisation's digital platforms.

You will be a central driving force in developing a modern, process-supported cyber organisation, where processes, technology and the organisation work closely together.

You will have the opportunity to help establish processes and working methods from the ground up and make your mark on how Denmark's future national cyber capacity will operate for many years to come.

The position is organisationally located in the Office for Implementation and Knowledge Sharing, but you will work closely with all offices in the operational cyber organisation.

The area of responsibility includes

  • Develop, maintain and optimise the operational cyber organisation's processes and SOPs across offices.
  • Contribute to the development and anchoring of the overall operating model.
  • Ensure that processes and workflows support the requirements of ISO 27001, SIM3 and other relevant standards, and continuously optimise.
  • Translate processes into digital workflows and ensure they are implemented and supported in the organisation's.
  • Drive ongoing improvements through process development, standardisation and maturity development.
  • Collaborate closely with the operational offices on the development of workflows within incident management, monitoring and analysis.
  • Contribute to audits, documentation and further development of the organisation's quality management.

About you

We are looking for a person who is motivated by creating structure in complex organisations.

In addition, we place emphasis on the following

  • Have experience with process development or process optimisation.
  • Can translate complex workflows into practical and usable processes.
  • Have experience with quality management or governance.
  • Have knowledge of ISO 27001, SIM3 or equivalent standards.
  • Have experience with process support in digital systems.
  • Work independently in a systematic and analytical way.
  • Thrive on collaborating across many professional disciplines.
  • Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
  • Independently drive projects and convey status to management, etc.

About the office

The Office for Implementation and Knowledge Sharing is being established in SAMSIK and is responsible for supporting the implementation of the operational cyber organisation and the organisation's collaboration and knowledge-sharing platforms.

In addition to being responsible for implementing the operational cyber organisation, the office is also the business owner for the platforms that support secure information sharing and collaboration across the cyber area.

You will become part of an environment with high ambitions to develop a modern, process-supported cyber organisation, where workflows, technology and people work closely together. Much will need to be established from scratch, and you will therefore have a unique opportunity to shape how the operational cyber capacity will function for many years to come.

What we offer you

We offer you a job in an organisation in development with dedicated employees who every day tackle an important societal task. We have a good working environment and a welcoming culture where well-being and performance go hand in hand. We are united across disciplines and cultures and are currently building a new strong workplace together. What unites us is our passion for our work and we are ready to help you settle in well and safely with your new job.
