The Arthroplasty sector has a guarantee function in the Region of Southern Denmark. In addition to primary knee- and hip arthroplasties, the department has a larger production of revisions in both knee- and hip arthroplasty.

The department handles treatment of periprosthetic hip fractures and there is a well-functioning collaboration with the Trauma sector, Aabenraa, when multidisciplinary treatment is needed.

In the Arthroplasty sector there are currently 9 specialists employed. We are a highly well-functioning sector that prioritises professionalism, job satisfaction, respect for each other and humor.
