The position is a full-time role, either as a specialist or as a chief physician, and as a rule with on-call duties. We are seeking a radiology specialist with competencies in thoracic radiology or who would like to develop their skills in this area, preferably in combination with another subspecialty, e.g. neuroradiology, pediatric radiology or oncologic radiology, depending on interest. Our thoracic section also participates in the acute radiological function in the hospital's joint emergency department.

Your workday will be characterized by a wide range of tasks in a good interdisciplinary environment where you can spar with colleagues, with a focus on well-being and job satisfaction.

In the on-call function you are present from 14:00 to 22:00 on weekdays and from 08:00 to 22:00 on weekends/holidays (the on-call can possibly be split 08:00-15:30 and 14:00-22:00 on weekends/holidays). The night shift from 22:00 to 08:00 is covered by an external temp agency seven days a week, where you have on-call from home. We work according to an overall rota, but with the possibility to request shifts and plan well in advance.
