Speech-Language Pathologist for a Maternity Leave Cover

We are looking for a speech-language pathologist (SLP) for a parental leave cover of 37 hours at PPL (Pedagogical Practice and Learning) with start on February 1, 2027.

You will become part of the SLP team, which consists of a total of 15 SLPs, a workshop assistant and a house assistant. The SLP team covers the 0-18 year age group and is organized under early childhood education. physically we share the location with the other professional groups in PPL consisting of psychologists, physical/occupational therapists, learning consultants and central resource teachers.

The SLP team provides advice and guidance as well as teaching to children and adolescents with speech, language and hearing difficulties. In addition, the SLPs are divided into different specialist teams e.g. stammering, voice and hearing teams. In this position there is an opportunity to become part of a sparring team within the multilingual area.

We are looking for an SLP who

• Has education either as a speech-language pathologist, audiology, or a relevant diploma with a specialization in speech and language difficulties
• Can work independently with an overview and a sense of priorities in the work
• Can engage in close collaboration both mono- and interprofessionally
• Is able to see the individual child in context and create a relationship that can contribute to the child's well-being and development
• Can handle meeting people in crisis
• Can handle periods when the workload is high
• Is good at expressing themselves verbally and in writing
• Has a driver's license and a car available

• Preventive and consultative work in collaboration with other professional groups
• Advice and practical guidance for teaching staff, partners and the child’s parents and other networks
• Teaching of children and adolescents

Salary and terms of employment

The salary is determined based on the applicable collective agreement and a concrete assessment of your education, your documented professional experience and your professional and personal qualifications.
