In the Institute for Lifelong Learning at Copenhagen University College (KP), we are looking for a development consultant who can help strengthen the coherence between KP's research environments, basic education programs and activities in the primary school sector.

You will contribute to developing KP's overall capacity in the school area and strengthen our value proposition to municipalities and schools. The task is to support KP's knowledge, research and educational professional competences being translated into relevant and value-creating initiatives that support the development of the future primary school. You will play a central role in work with the reform of the subjects (fagfornyelsen) and other important development agendas in the school area.

You will become a key person in the work to create strong connections between research, education and practice. Through collaboration with municipalities, schools and various internal professional environments, you will help develop KP's position as an attractive and value-creating development partner in the primary school area.

A substantial part of the task is to identify needs, opportunities and trends in collaboration with municipalities and schools and translate them into initiatives that strengthen KP's overall value proposition. At the same time, you will support the building of common professional capacities across the organization so that we can even more effectively bring research, undergraduate education and continuing and further education into play in collaboration with practice.

You will thus become an important link between KP's professional environments and the municipalities and schools that want to collaborate on developing the school of the future.

Your tasks will include, among others, to

  • Support steering groups and cross-cutting development processes through coordination, meeting preparation and decision proposals
  • Contribute to project development, project maturation and funding of strategic initiatives in the school sector
  • Support internal and external communication about KP's initiatives, results and value proposition in the school area
  • Contribute to the development, sale and implementation of activities and development programs in the primary school area.

About you

We imagine that you

  • Have a relevant master's or candidate degree
  • Have in-depth knowledge of the primary school sector and the current development agendas
  • Have experience with school development, consultancy or development processes in municipalities, schools or educational institutions
  • Have experience with creating collaboration across professional environments and organizational units
  • Are strong at relationship building and can develop trusting collaborations with leaders, consultants, teachers and professionals
  • Can translate needs and opportunities into concrete initiatives, collaborations and solutions
  • Have strong process, facilitation and project management skills
  • Work independently and thrive on driving tasks from idea to implementation.

We offer

We offer a strategically important role with the opportunity to influence the development of KP's effort in the primary school area. You will become part of a strong professional environment and have the opportunity to work at the intersection of research, education and practice development.

You will have engaged and competent colleagues where collaboration, sparring and knowledge sharing are a natural part of everyday life. At the same time, you will have a lot of freedom to plan your work and flexible terms that support a good balance between work life and private life.
