Hørsholm Municipality seeks development consultant for maternity leave cover in Center for Daycare and School

Do you want to work closely with both the political decision-making arena and everyday life in the municipality's schools and day care? In Hørsholm Municipality we are looking for a development consultant who can drive projects, coordinate with respect to the political processes and help create the best framework for children and young people.

We are 11 employees plus a head of the daycare area and a center director who work closely together across disciplines and competencies in our center. Our collaboration is characterized by trust, with room for diversity and new ideas.

Center for Daycare and School supports and develops the municipality's public schools, daycare, special education and Youth School UiH. At the same time, we service the political committees and handle the overall administration in the area.

What are we looking for?

In this position you will come close to both the political decision-making arena and everyday life in the municipality's schools and day care centers. You will collaborate with colleagues in the center, across the municipality as well as with managers, leaders and staff in the school and day care area.

A central part of the position is to coordinate the preparation of political case presentations in the school and day care area. The task includes both the ongoing political cases for the Children and School Committee and the budget material for the Municipal Council in connection with the annual budget process.

In addition, you will obtain a central role in development and implementation projects in the children and youth area. The projects can include:

• Strengthening the transition between daycare and school
• Implementation of a new structure for the municipality's SFO and club offerings
• Support for schools' work with inclusion and special education

We are seeking a consultant who

• Has a relevant academic education and preferably experience with or knowledge of the children and youth area
• Can create an overview and ensure progress in many concurrent tasks and processes
• Can collaborate with different professionalities and communicates clearly and professionally
• Can drive projects and navigate in a politically governed organization
• Is analytically strong, reflective and formulates themselves clearly and precisely in political case presentations

The position is 37 hours with start as soon as possible or 1 January 2027. The position is fixed-term until 1 December 2027.
