Strategic auditor and advisor for the establishment of a new audit unit

We are seeking an experienced state-authorized public accountant who is eager to play a central role in establishing and developing an independent audit unit in close collaboration with a well-established advisory and business actor.

The role is aimed at you who thrive in an entrepreneurial setup, want a high degree of professional freedom and are motivated by being involved early in building a business. The form of collaboration can be adapted and may include employment, strategic collaboration, or partnership – depending on profile and mutual expectations.

From the start there will be access to an existing client base through the collaboration.

Your strategic role

You will become a key player in building the new audit unit, where you will both be a professional sparring partner for the management and help shape the company's processes, culture and approach to clients.

Your role spans a broad range within financial advisory, including corporate structures, ownership changes, accounting legislation and quality assurance.

Your responsibilities include, among others

• Building and maintaining long-term client relationships through proactive advice and strategic sparring
• Audit and assurance tasks in accordance with the Auditors Act and ISQM standards
• Advice on ownership arrangements, structures and succession
• Tax and VAT calculations for both personally owned businesses and companies
• Quality assurance and internal control of financial statements prepared by our finance team
• Sparring with colleagues and contributing to the development of internal processes and compliance

You will work closely with colleagues inside the organization and with clients and external partners – where you will be the professional guarantor that audit work is performed with high quality and in accordance with applicable standards.

About you

You are a state-authorized public accountant and are motivated to put your professionalism into practice – not just on paper, but in reality.

You have solid experience from collaborations with SMEs, owner-managed businesses or agriculture and other business enterprises.
