Become a vocational teacher on the bodywork technician education at College360 in Silkeborg.

PRO&CO on behalf of College360 is seeking a skilled bodywork technician who wants to use their professional skills in a new way and help train the next generation of bodywork technicians.

You don’t need experience in teaching. The most important thing is that you are technically strong, enjoy working with young people and are motivated to share your knowledge and experience.

At College360 you will be well supported in the role of a teacher. You will become part of a strong and engaged team of teachers, where you receive support and sparring from experienced colleagues. As part of your employment you will also receive training in teaching and pedagogy.

About the job

You will primarily teach on the basic and main courses of the bodywork technician education. The teaching is practice-oriented and based on the tasks, techniques, and standards that students encounter in the industry.

Your tasks will include, among others

• plan and conduct practice-oriented teaching
• teach students the techniques, working methods, and standards used in the industry
• follow students’ academic and personal development as mentor
• collaborate with colleagues, companies and other partners
• contribute to the development of the education and teaching materials

Who are you?

We are primarily looking for a technically skilled bodywork technician who wants to teach others and make a difference for young people.

We imagine that you

• are a trained bodywork technician / panel beater
• as a starting point have some years of relevant and current professional experience
• have kept your professional skills up to date through practical work and preferably relevant continuing education
• can use ordinary IT and the industry’s digital tools
• can create structure and clear boundaries for the students
• communicate professionally with students, colleagues and companies
• meet young people with interest, patience and respect
• are keen to develop yourself both professionally and as a teacher

Teaching experience is an advantage, but not a requirement. College360 will ensure you are well prepared for the task.

Employment terms

The position is full-time with start as soon as possible or by agreement.

Salary and terms follow the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the Education Union. Depending on your experience and competences, the salary level is 31,000–36,500 DKK per month plus 18 percent pension.
