Your tasks with us

We are seeking an employee who is interested in working to increase health equity.

You will work with the preventive effort targeted at citizens with chronic diseases in close collaboration with a dietitian colleague and other staff in the health area.

You are expected to have broad knowledge of various interventions within dietetics and knowledge about citizens with chronic diseases, general overweight and nutritional therapy.

You will have a varied everyday life with a number of different tasks, where you collaborate with many different citizen and staff groups.

You should thrive with both practical, execution tasks in relation to citizens and with development tasks related to daily practice.

You will meet a broad target group who, in addition to their referral diagnosis, may have other challenges such as e.g. mental illness.

The foundation for the work at the Health Center is to increase health equity with a particular focus on overweight, physical activity and mental health. We emphasize that you have experience with

• Citizen-centered interventions focusing on diet and nutrition both individually and in groups and also preferably digitally
• Teaching on program courses such as e.g. diabetes, cancer and COPD
• Nutritional therapy for both geriatric citizens and citizens with multisymptom disease
• Experience with pedagogical methods for communication and teaching of target groups with many different backgrounds
• Knowledge of documentation according to the NCP model.
• Proficient with IT and electronic documentation – we use Outlook, Cura, Vitakost and Liva.
• Preparation of information and teaching materials for different target groups
• Ad hoc presentations and communication to citizens, voluntary organizations and other partners.

Our core task

”The Health Center’s core task is to rehabilitate citizens in Høje-Taastrup Municipality with reduced physical, mental, cognitive or social functional ability.

Rehabilitation efforts are targeted, coherent and evidence-based health interventions based on the person’s perspectives and entire life situation”

Salary and employment

The position is 37 hours per week, with flexible hours.

There will periodically be tasks outside normal working hours (4-8 pm) 1-2 times per week and some weekend days during the summer period.

Salary according to applicable collective agreement.
