Svane Pleje is currently seeking a social- and health assistant or social- and health helper as day shift for the home care in our department in Copenhagen. Your working hours are generally between 07:00 and 15:00 with fixed shifts every other weekend and a fixed weekly day off.

At Svane Pleje we do everything to create the best framework for our citizens – with particular focus on their life situation. In recent times we have started a culture creation, where participation in teams and planned time for collegial sparring is one of the daily activities that we want everyone to participate in and take responsibility for – and thereby you will be able to shape the department with your initiatives in the startup of this.

We are looking for a colleague who can work independently, take responsibility and provide the best care to our citizens during the day. We offer a permanent position as day shift. The work mainly consists of care and practical assistance to our citizens.

As day shift you will, in overlap with the night and evening shifts, together with your colleagues during the day help our citizens with what they need. It will be you who supports them in living the life they want and the care and assistance they need – and you will always have a nurse and your colleagues in the background.

The tasks are varied, but can be generally noted as

• Fundamental nursing and care tasks
• Practical and personal care of the citizen, supporting the citizen in maintaining their dignity and creating joy of life
• Observation of citizens with a view to early detection of illness with the aim of reporting it to our partners in the relevant municipality
• Collaboration with citizens, colleagues and external municipal partners
• Documentation in the care system CURA

You will become part of a team of helpers and substitutes overlapping with the evening and night shifts. We work value-based and are motivated by inclusion and influence. With the citizen in the center we focus on giving each citizen the opportunity to live a dignified life with well-being and joy of life.

We are looking for you who are trained as a social- and health assistant or social- and health helper, who is passionate about working with citizens in their own homes, and through a wholehearted and professional effort will make a big difference in our citizens' everyday life and well-being.

It could also be you who are unskilled but with a lot of documented experience.

We also imagine that

• You are trained SSH or SSA
• You have a huge caregiving instinct and enjoy working with people
• Are able to work independently and are confident in yourself and your professionalism
• You are skilled at communicating and working across professions
• You can create security and calm for the citizen and colleagues through your overview
• You are reliable, responsible and able to work on your own
• Have a category B driver's license
• Can present a criminal record
