We are looking for a skilled, professionally strong and independent nurse for our living-in environments.

It is important that you have your heart in the right place, and that you can see the meaning in that at Mergeltoften we always have the resident at the center.

You must have engagement, like to lead from the front and see it as a gift to have influence on your own tasks within the given framework. You must be the focal point for the competent social and health care assistants in relation to nursing and share responsibility for the overall nursing professional effort at Mergeltoften.

As a nurse at Mergeltoften your tasks will be a good mix of developing nursing and practice-oriented nursing. You will, together with your colleagues, plan and carry out the nursing around our residents.

The complexity in the field is increasing, and you will, together with your nursing professional colleague, contribute to solving the tasks in close collaboration with the rest of the staff group in the care homes.

Pleje- og Aktivitetscenter Mergeltoften is located in Nivå, just a five-minute walk from the Kystbanen. Here 50 residents live across eight small houses designed as living-in environments. We have three house cats and several birds, and we love it when staff have their dogs or children with them at work.

As a rule, the working time is 37 hours per week and mainly day shifts on weekdays. The nurses plan the working hours in collaboration with the group leader. There may be days when it makes sense to start at 07:00 for handover from the night shift or stay a little longer in the afternoon to support the evening shift.

As a result of the new elderly act and the work with holistic care, there will be weekend shifts 4-5 times a year, where you participate in a joint nursing scheme and cover the municipality's six care homes on call. In addition, you are expected to cover one to two holidays per year. The arrangement and the further framework will be elaborated at the employment interview.
