About the job

Do you want to use your professional expertise where it really makes a difference – and at the same time develop yourself as a nurse?

We are looking for engaged nurses who want to help create safe, meaningful and professionally strong care paths for residents at our nursing home. It is a new type of position where you have the opportunity to bring your entire nursing profession into play – both in daily practice and in complex or acute situations – and at the same time become part of a close, interdisciplinary collaboration around the residents.

Your role as a nurse

Here you will not only get a job, but an important role in a professional community where we support each other, share knowledge and develop new ways of collaborating for the benefit of those we are here for. As a nurse you will be an important part of ensuring high professional quality, strengthening clinical quality in the care and setting the direction for interdisciplinary collaboration – so residents encounter an effort that is coordinated, qualified and tailored to their needs. As a nurse in a nursing home you will work together in smaller clusters with other nurses.

Plejehjemmet Thulebakken ligger I Hasseris tæt på Kirken og Bymidten. Vi har 72 boliger fordelt på 5 somatiske afdelinger med borgere med et komplekst sygdomsbillede samt en afdeling med borgere med demens.

Your tasks will include

  • Perform complex and specialized nursing in close collaboration with other professional groups
  • Take clinical leadership and ensure coherence in resident pathways, e.g. at admission, hospitalization and discharge
  • Support colleagues' learning and professional development through sparring and knowledge sharing
  • Document and communicate nursing observations and interventions in accordance with current guidelines
  • Contribute to developing the professional environment and implementing new knowledge
  • Participate in preventive work through early detection, triage and collaboration with the care home doctor, etc.

We are looking for nurses who

  • Are a licensed nurse with experience in complex pathways
  • Work independently while thriving in close interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Want to contribute to a learning environment and professional development, e.g., through teaching or bedside learning
  • Are willing to travel to other care homes to help
  • Have an open and positive view of people, good humor and can maintain an overview in a busy daily routine
  • Can navigate the CURA care system – or are keen to learn it

We offer

  • A workplace focused on professionalism, interdisciplinary collaboration and residents' quality of life
  • This is a permanent position. Shifts are mainly day shifts on weekdays, but with the possibility of evening and weekend work
  • The position requires that you have a category B driving license; access to your own car is an advantage

Workplace address: Thulebakken 20, 9000 Aalborg
