About the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Southern Denmark and the Treatment Clinic

The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Southern Denmark is anchored under Odense University Hospital and has a joint management with outpatient clinics in Aabenraa, Esbjerg, Vejle and Odense, as well as wards in Aabenraa and Odense. We employ about 600 staff in the department.

To reduce waiting times for assessment and treatment, we are now opening the Treatment Clinic, and it is to this we are seeking you.

The Treatment Clinic is a newly established outpatient clinic in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry of Southern Denmark located in Odense. We expect to be able to admit the first patients in February 2027. The outpatient clinic will handle medication monitoring for patients with ADHD in stable medical treatment. The patients are aged 6-17 years and come from across the Region of Southern Denmark.

Since this is a completely new outpatient clinic, you will have a strong influence on workflows and the opportunity to put your own mark on how tasks are solved. It is an outpatient clinic with short patient contacts, so it is a prerequisite that you thrive with high patient flow and independent consultations.

We are looking for staff who

• have a healthcare background such as nurse or medical student or perhaps you are a social and health care assistant with consultation experience from, for example, a general practice
• are structured and thrive working independently, but with good opportunities for professional sparring
• have technical savvy, as many of the consultations will take place online
• have strong relational skills and are able to build trust through the screen

Salary and employment conditions

The outpatient clinic is open during the day, Monday to Friday, with a weekly shift until 6 PM.

Employment and remuneration according to qualifications and the collective agreement with Danish Regions and the relevant trade union.

The region is obliged to inform you of the starting salary for the position. You will be told the base salary, centrally fixed allowances and pension under the relevant collective agreement. In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include potentially negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.

Starting salary for positions in Region Southern Denmark

If you are not already employed by Region Southern Denmark, there will be a three-month probationary period. Criminal and child protection checks will be obtained prior to employment.
