I am Sylvia Juda-Jensen and I am the head nurse at the Geriatric Ward G16. We are seeking nurses for permanent positions on 37 hours – with the possibility of other hours by agreement.

Who are we?

G16 is a geriatric inpatient ward with space for 16 patients and an average length of stay of about five days.

Our patients often have complex disease patterns with both acute and chronic issues. This requires professionalism, but also provides opportunity to develop broadly within medical nursing.

We work, among other things, targeted with

• joint decision-making
• timely palliative care
• innovation and everyday improvements
• interdisciplinary collaboration in small teams
• involvement of relatives as an active resource

We also have a close collaboration with Elder Admissions (Ældremodtagelsen), our outgoing Geriatric Team and Geriatric Outpatient Clinic (Geriatrisk Ambulatorium).

You do not need to know it all in advance. We ensure that the introduction takes its starting point in your experience and needs.
