About the job

  • Become a part of our team!

Are you a passionate nurse who is eager to make a difference in the local healthcare system? Then you may be our next colleague!

The position is initially 37 hours, but if you have other wishes we are open for dialogue here – weekend shifts every 4th weekend. The positions are rotating shifts – either day/evening or day/night, and they are predominantly day shifts on a rotation.

Who are we?

Home- and nursing care are based at four bases – Fjerritslev, Brovst, Aabybro and Pandrup.

The evening and night shifts are based in Brovst. These are staffed with 3 nurses in the evening shift and 2 in the night shift.

The nursing service has one entry and this is staffed with 4 coordinating nurses.

In addition, the nursing service consists of 3 dementia coordinators as well as 5 center nurses, a citizen-facing nurse and a psychiatric nurse.

We also handle the emergency function which is primarily carried out by one nurse during the day shift. The evening and night functions are handled by the nurses on duty.

In the nursing service we have a number of special functions – wound care, compression, clinical supervisor and, in addition, key functions in diabetes and palliative care.

We are an educational site for nursing students on the 3rd, 4th and 6th semesters, where it is a joint effort between clinical supervisors and the remaining nurses to ensure that our future colleagues receive the best possible clinical period.

We have a close collaboration with a drug treatment center regarding substitution therapy; moreover we are involved broadly as we can be called at odd times at both residential facilities and care centers.

Home- and nursing care share a common local management, but the management of the health-related area is led by the manager in Brovst.

The Elderly Reform has brought a much closer collaboration with home care groups and the interdisciplinary collaboration interfaces. There are interdisciplinary conferences in all areas twice a week in which all disciplines participate. The nurses are attached to a team of social and health care assistants and assistants with whom they have close collaboration.

Your daily life as a nurse

With increasing responsibility for tasks that previously were handled by the hospital sector, you will take on exciting and complex tasks such as IV treatments, acute assessments, wound care and palliative care. We prioritize competence development and offer ongoing sparring and knowledge sharing.

We have nursing clinics where the most mobile citizens receive treatment and follow-up, and an emergency function handled by nurses with special competencies. You will also have the opportunity to work in the care centers as the mobile team handles the complex tasks during weekends, evenings and night shifts, together with a team of dedicated colleagues.

  • You are a clinical supervisor or would be interested in this training

  • If you have other specialized competencies, we are open to this, as we have various key roles in nursing
