Teacher for an upper-grade special class at Møn School, Stege Campus

Do you want to help create learning, well-being and development for young people with special needs?

Møn School is seeking an engaged teacher for our upper-school special class. We work with students including autism spectrum disorders and emotional challenges, and we are looking for a colleague who can create safe, structured and meaningful learning environments where students develop academically, socially and personally.

Since the position is in the upper school, it is important that you have experience in guiding students to take the 9th-grade exam and can translate academic goals into instruction that takes into account the students' individual needs and prerequisites.

• is a trained teacher and preferably has major subjects or competencies in mathematics, science or special pedagogy.
• has experience with special education, particularly in the autism field.
• has experience in guiding students to take the 9th-grade exam.
• is a clear and relationship-focused classroom leader.
• works in a structured way and can create predictable learning environments.
• has high ambitions on behalf of the students and believes in their development potential.
• thrives in close cooperation with colleagues, parents and management.
