Do you want to help create participation opportunities, development and good school days for children who need something different from the ordinary framework?

At Søholmskolen we are looking for a teacher or educator for our mid-term solution. You must have strong special educational competencies , be skilled in relationship work and be able to create clear, safe and flexible frameworks around children with different prerequisites. At the same time you must be able to teach German.

About the mid-term solution

The mid-term solution is an offer for children who, in periods, need a more sheltered, manageable and flexible school day, but who still need connection to the school's communities. The task requires that you can work closely with the individual child and bridge to the class community.

You will become part of a close multidisciplinary collaboration with teachers, educators, management, parents and relevant professionals. Together you create structure, progression and realistic opportunities for participation for the children.

Your tasks

• to create a recognizable and safe daily life with clear structure
• to plan and carry out teaching and pedagogical processes based on the individual child's needs
• to support the children's academic, social and personal development
• to help the children participate in the class and school communities
• to work closely with colleagues and parents on goals, actions and follow-up
• to teach German

We are looking for a colleague

• who is educated as a teacher or educator
• who has experience with special education and can translate knowledge into concrete practice
• who has a clear, calm and relationship-building approach to children
• who can work in a structured way and at the same time adjust the plan when the child needs something else
• who looks beyond behaviour and meets children with positive and realistic expectations
• who has an eye for both the individual child and the community the child is part of
• who can teach German
• who thrives in a close and committed team collaboration
• who contributes with professionalism, curiosity, humor and engagement

About Søholmskolen

Salary and terms of employment: Employment and remuneration are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
