PR Manager – Maternity Cover

&Tradition is seeking a dynamic PR Manager (Maternity Cover) to join our marketing team in Copenhagen. It is a full-time position with start date in January/February 2027.

About the Position

As the PR Manager, you will be responsible for driving all PR activities for the company, actively working to ensure that &Tradition is featured in the right places and seen by the right people. You will proactively seek opportunities to share &Tradition’s stories with originality and personality.

You will develop and implement the global PR plan in alignment with the overall communications strategy and company objectives, collaborating closely with the Head of PR and Communications. This role is crucial for enhancing media coverage and brand visibility across various markets, achieved through proactive international PR efforts, management of PR consultants/agencies in key markets and partnerships with relevant creators and influencers.

You will oversee influencer and strategic partnerships for &Tradition, working in conjunction with our Digital Community Specialist. Additionally, you will provide support to the Head of PR and Communications, ensuring the broader marketing team and company stay informed about PR and communication initiatives.

You will

• Develop and implement a comprehensive PR plan aligned with product launches, events, and company objectives
• Oversee influencer collaborations and strategic partnerships in coordination with the Digital Community Specialist
• Handle incoming press inquiries and actively seek opportunities for media coverage
• Manage external agencies and collaborators to ensure effective PR campaigns
• Take responsibility for press loans and product placements in international publications
• Monitor media coverage and provide regular updates to the wider team and company on PR performance
• Maintain and update media contact lists to ensure relevance and accuracy
• Develop compelling story angles for new launches and current collections
• Proactively pitch stories and seek opportunities for coverage in international publications
• Organise and join press events in Copenhagen and around Europe
• Coordinate product launches, press events, and brand activities in collaboration with the broader marketing team

Skills & experience

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, PR, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Demonstrated creativity, innovation, and a passion for design and aesthetics.
• Proven experience as a PR Manager or in a similar role within a design-oriented or creative industry, or from an agency.
• Strong understanding of the Danish and international media landscape in the design and lifestyle field, with a keen eye for trends and industry best practices.
• Experience with media monitoring, press database tools, and analytics platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Familiarity with the design and furniture industry is advantageous.
