Teacher sought for Præstegård School, Line S, Kvaglund Department

Line S at Kvaglundskolen in Esbjerg Municipality is seeking a teacher for a permanent position with start on 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible.

You must have a strong interest in working with children and young people in the field of special education, as well as being able to participate physically actively in various activities. It is an advantage if you have mathematics, music, German and/or science as part of your specialization.

The position is between 32 and 37 hours per week.

Line S is a segregated school provision for students in Esbjerg Municipality. The target group is students from 0th to 9th grade with a combination of severe social, emotional, cognitive, communicative and/or relational difficulties. There will often be complex difficulties as well as students with diagnoses within the autism spectrum, ADHD etc.

These are students who, due to their functional level and challenges, have not benefited from the offer in a general class. In order for the student to be offered schooling on Line S, the student must be admitted via the central admissions committee, DUS.

Line S currently has about 110 students aged 6-17 years, spread across 0th-9th grade, and there are currently 23 teachers and 24 educators who work closely in class teams.
