Team Coordinator with Operational Responsibility for Carelink Pleje Odense

Carelink Pleje Fyn is seeking a team coordinator with operational responsibility for our department in Odense.

We are looking for you who have solid planning experience from home care, and who are motivated by making daily operations work in practice. You should be able to draft good shift and route plans, ensure the right employees with the right citizens and plan with a focus on regular staff and high continuity. The goal is a daily life where citizens experience safety, quality and home care they can count on.

You will have responsibility for your own team and become a central key person in daily operations. At the same time you will be part of an organization in development, where things move fast, decision paths are short, and you get great opportunity to shape your own role and the way we run home care.

About the position

As a team coordinator you will be the central point for the daily planning and operations around your team in Odense.

Your main task is to ensure stable, effective and coherent operation in your area . You should have overview of staffing, shift plans, routes and citizens' needs and be able to make the necessary operational decisions when everyday life changes.

Planning and coordination are central parts of the role. You must therefore have solid planning experience from home care and be used to getting staffing, routes and citizens' needs to add up – even when today's plans change.

You are not alone with the health professional development either. At Carelink Pleje Fyn we have health professional leaders and nurses who support the professional quality and development around the citizens. Your primary focus will be to ensure stable and well-functioning operations and to create the best framework for the employees' work.

The position is full-time and primarily day shifts. As part of the role also includes handling of the on-call phone on weekdays and weekends according to rotational arrangement.

Your main tasks

You shall among other things

• ensure good shift and route planning and continually adapt plans when needs change
• allocate staff and tasks so the right competencies match the citizens' needs
• plan with focus on regular staff, continuity for citizens and good utilization of resources
• handle illness, vacation and acute changes and ensure stable daily operations
• coordinate daily contact with the municipality and be a visible sparring partner for the staff
• contribute to developing working procedures and creating an even better and more efficient operation.

We expect that you

• are educated social- and health care assistant or nurse
• have experience from home care and solid experience with shift and route planning
• have experience with Nexus and can use the system safely in daily work
• are strong in allocation and can make citizens' needs, staff competencies and resources add up
• work structured, keep overview and can make decisions when daily life changes
• communicate clearly and professionally and thrive on taking responsibility for daily operations.

A role with room to grow

As a starting point you do not formally have personnel responsibility. Instead you get a large responsibility for the daily operations around your team and freedom to make the necessary decisions within the agreed framework.

There is an opportunity to grow with the role , and for the right candidate the position can over time develop to also include personnel responsibility. How the role develops will depend among other things on your experiences, competencies and ambitions.
