On behalf of Risager A/S, Career | a JKS company is seeking a technician for the company's specialized production of cutting tools. Here you will have the opportunity to work with modern CNC machines and a wide range of tools, where quality, precision and short lead times are in focus.

About the position

As a technician at Risager you will primarily work with the manufacture, regrinding and renovation of cutting tools for the metal cutting industry. The work includes programming CNC tool grinding machines and producing both standard tools and special tools according to customers' specifications.

You will be part of the daily production, where good planning, quality and efficiency are crucial to ensure that customers receive their tools on time.

Your tasks will include

• Program CNC tool grinding machines
• Manufacture cutting tools, including milling cutters, drills and reamers
• Manufacture special tools according to customers' needs and specifications
• Perform resharpening and renovation of cutting tools
• Ensure quality and precision in the finished work
• Contribute to planning and optimization of production

You will have a varied workday with different technical tasks, and an opportunity to develop your competencies through thorough training in the company's machines and processes.

About you

You have a technical background such as an industrial technician, toolmaker or tool technician. You may also have another relevant technical background where you have gained experience with CNC and subtractive machining. The important thing is that you have a good technical understanding and interest in working with cutting tools.

You thrive with precision work and have a quality-conscious approach to your tasks. At the same time you work structured and meticulous and understand the importance of good planning and meeting delivery times.
