About the job

Do you want a versatile and meaningful job with the dissemination of assistive devices? Then you have here a unique opportunity, as we have undergone an upscaling in the form of a permanent position.

Why choose case management of assistive devices? Because it is a unique combination of citizen contact and administrative work with the possibility of professional depth. You use your therapeutic professional knowledge to assess the citizen's functional capacity and translate it into holistic decisions within the framework of the law. At the same time, you have the opportunity to make a difference by communicating both complex and difficult messages in a clear, respectful, and professional manner.

It is an area that develops continuously in step with changes in legislation and society's needs, and therefore you will have good opportunities for both professional and personal development.

In Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality we work to create good frameworks for the individual citizen in all stages of life – in close collaboration with the citizen, their relatives, and the municipality's other staff. You will become part of the Authority Department, where we work in specialized professional teams with a focus on the citizen's needs.

In the Assistive Devices Department we process applications for a wide range of assistive devices, consumables, and home modifications. We work within various specialties such as e.g. support for driving, service dogs, children’s aids, communication devices, and home modifications.

Our everyday life is characterized by variation, flexibility and good opportunities for learning and development. We have a strong collegial community where we share knowledge, spar with and help each other. We work with trust-based leadership and value an informal tone, where humor and good collaboration are a natural part of daily life.

We are looking for a colleague who

  • is educated as an occupational therapist or physiotherapist
  • has an interest in or experience with case management of assistive devices
  • has experience with or interest in exploring the authority field
  • is motivated to deliver qualified case processing based on the individual citizen
  • works independently, structured and analytically
  • can prioritize and maintain an overview in a busy everyday life
  • has good collaboration skills and high flexibility
  • is curious and enjoys learning
  • contributes actively to a good working environment
  • has a driving license.

We offer

  • professionally competent and helpful colleagues
  • a working community characterized by sparring, humor and trust
  • flexible working hours and in time the possibility of remote work
  • a thorough induction with a mentoring scheme
  • an independent job with professional responsibility and influence on one’s own daily life
  • newly renovated office facilities that support professional sparring
  • a workplace where well-being and social cohesion are prioritized
  • an electric car or electric bike available for home visits.

In the Center for Health and Care we have experience that diversity is a strength, and therefore encourage all qualified applicants regardless of gender, age and ethnicity to apply. We work from our value base of creating value for the citizen by being professional, responsible and loyal, a good workplace and a secure experience of coherence.

Application deadline is October 20, 2026, at 23:59.

Interviews will be held on October 23, 2026.
