If this matches your values, read on and maybe you are exactly the educator that Handicap Midt Team Vesterbrogade is looking for.

In the Residential Community Vesterbrogade, there are 14 adult citizens with reduced mental and physical functioning. The citizens live in a community building spread over three floors. The residential community has a shared apartment that invites social interaction and meals.

We are at work from 07:00-22:00 Monday to Friday and from 09:00-21:00 on weekends. You should expect to work a mix of morning and evening shifts, as well as every 6th weekend, where we work independently.

The citizens are as a rule in employment at activity and social interaction offers, or in protected employment. Our primary task is to support and motivate the citizens to master their lives and everyday practical tasks. We work to support, develop and maintain the citizens' physical, psychological and social skills.

We also work from a health professional focus. As a prospective colleague, you should have an interest in working with the mentioned methods.

You must be prepared to guide and advise citizens in all aspects of life. We focus on citizens' self-determination and co-determination, including living in their own home in a shared living arrangement. As an employee with us, you must be able to work cross-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary. You must be good at communicating and collaborating, as our citizens have extensive contact with other professional groups and relatives.

The staff group consists of four educators and a social and health assistant. We want an employee who dares to take responsibility for the tasks, who can work both independently and in a team.
