About the job

Are you passionate about the Danish subject, and would you like to create teaching that arouses students' curiosity and desire to read, write and participate? Are you also good at building relationships and a safe classroom community? Then we would love to hear from you.

At Tim School we are experiencing a large influx of students and are therefore creating an extra 7th grade. We are seeking a Danish teacher who, together with good colleagues, will help create a strong academic and social community for a lovely group of students.

We offer a permanent full-time position with start no later than January 1, 2027. If you prefer part-time, we are also open to that.

Danish as the core subject – room for your other subjects

We are looking for you who have Danish as a teaching subject and a desire to teach in the upper grades. You enjoy delving into the subject and can make Danish lively, investigative and meaningful for students with different starting points and create coherence between academic development, well-being and community.

We are curious about your other teaching subjects. We have the possibility to adjust the subject distribution so that together we can compose a position that fits your competences and the school's needs.

With us you get

  • A strong collegial community with sparring and collaboration about the students and the teaching.
  • Great flexibility in planning the work and significant influence on the use of your preparation time.
  • A leadership that meets you with trust and supports you in everyday life.
  • Short path from idea to action and the opportunity to contribute to the school's development.
  • Modern and newly renovated facilities with green areas and an athletics center nearby.

We are looking for a colleague who

  • Is a trained teacher with Danish as a teaching subject.
  • Is a clear and engaging classroom leader who meets students with positive expectations.
  • Builds good relationships and has an eye for each student's participation in the community.
  • Wants to develop the teaching together with colleagues and engage in open collaboration with the parents.
  • Meets students with a basis in Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality's Child and Youth Policy.

A school with community and support

Tim School is a public school with 210 students from 0th to 9th grade. The staff consists of 17 teachers and 2 pedagogues. In addition we have a before/after school program (SFO) and club with about 60 children and 6 staff.

We have modern and newly renovated facilities and are surrounded by green areas with short distance to the sports center. That provides good opportunities for varied teaching and movement during the school day.

We experience strong support from our parents and have a close and valuable collaboration with the local community.

Feel free to visit

You are very welcome to call and hear more or arrange a visit, so you can experience the school and have a chat about your opportunities with us.

Contact headteacher Jakob Agerbo at 29 63 63 66 or deputy head Malene Villadsen at 25 13 06 39 .

We look forward to hearing from you.

Application deadline: Sunday 22/11 and interviews will be held Tuesday 24/11.

We are seeking one new colleague and are advertising the position with both a Danish and a mathematics profile. We can adjust the subject distribution and place great emphasis on finding the right match for the school.
