About the job

We are looking for a new colleague - Are you the voice that will make a difference for citizens of Region Zealand?

Not all citizens can transport themselves to and from hospital treatments. You can help them. As a transport coordinator you will help ensure that citizens can be transported safely to and from treatments at the hospitals.

As a transport coordinator you will, via telephone-based eligibility assessment, organize transport to and from hospital treatments for citizens in Region Zealand. With experience there will also be opportunities to take on administrative tasks, including handling citizens' applications for transport allowances.

A large part of your working time will take place in a call centre function, which is why it is essential that you maintain a high level of service and are engaged in your conversations. You will play an important role in creating a positive experience for both citizens and colleagues.

You will be employed in Transport Service, which is part of the Prehospital Center.

We are an organization in constant development, and it is therefore important that you thrive with changes and ongoing development.

We place great emphasis on well-being and a good working environment, and we expect you to actively contribute to this.

We expect

  • That you have experience with call centre or telephone handling.
  • That you have experience from customer service or similar roles.
  • That you are engaged, professional, proactive and appreciative in your work.
  • That you have administrative experience, preferably from the health sector, but this is not a requirement.
  • That you have a friendly and smiling telephone voice in all situations and can guide the citizen through the telephone conversation, while complying with current legislation. You must be able to maintain focus and concentration, even when the pace is high.
  • That you are responsible, meticulous and empathetic, as your tasks have great significance for both the individual patient and the collaboration with colleagues.
  • That you are a skilled communicator both in writing and orally.
  • That you are independent, have good teamwork skills, are flexible and diligent.
  • That you are reliable and robust in stressful situations.
  • That you are flexible and adaptable with a positive attitude to change.
  • That you as a person and colleague are outgoing, have a sense of humor and help with all types of tasks, even if it is not necessarily your primary task.

We offer

  • An exciting and challenging full-time position.
  • Working hours on weekdays between 07:00 and 18:00 (we have a fixed schedule with internal swaps between colleagues)
  • A structured and intensive onboarding program that ensures a good start.
  • An work environment with an open, honest and welcoming tone.
  • A dynamic and busy organization that is in constant development.
  • A performance culture where we combine high demands with a focus on quality and goals.
  • An workplace where every day offers new challenges, and where everyone works towards a common goal.
  • A learning culture where you receive supervision and feedback on both conversations and administrative tasks.
  • Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable HK collective agreement.

Applications will be held on 26 and 27 October.
