For the special area’s governance and analytics team in the Children and Youth Administration (BUF) we are looking for two student assistants to join the team’s work generating strong analyses and knowledge about BUF’s area of work. The tasks as a student include, among other things, preparing management information, analyses, visualisations and assisting colleagues with other varied tasks.

We are looking for profiles who

• have good methodological competences
• are experienced users of the Office package and especially Excel
• can visualise and present data in an understandable way
• can assist with incidental administrative tasks
• are thorough and structured, have a good eye for detail and at the same time are good at maintaining an overview and seeing larger contexts
• are pursuing a relevant academic education (stud.oceon., stud.scient.pol., stud.scient.soc., stud.polit. or similar)
• have a good understanding of data and can relate to data quality
• are collaborative by nature and take pride in delivering solid and accurate data

It’s a plus if you have experience with other data processing systems, and if you have knowledge of the children/special area.

Your daily workplace will be at the Citywide Center for Youth and Special (BCUS) on Gyldenløvesgade – just a short walk from Copenhagen City Hall. BCUS is a central administrative unit in BUF, broadly performing tasks that are politically or administratively strategically prioritized in the youth and special area. It can, for example, be expectations regarding the number of children with special needs, analysis of waiting times or school progression. BCUS employs about 75 employees.

You will become part of a small team in our Admissions and Supervisory Department. The team is called Governance, Forecasting and Analysis and currently consists of a team leader, four consultants and two students. In the team, all levels of management in BUF are supported with knowledge about the special area.

Our student assistants are important for completing the tasks, and you can expect to be an active and valued part of our daily work and our social community over lunch and during coffee breaks. Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement and within the framework of local pay formation. The positions are 15 hours per week according to the applicable collective agreement. Start as soon as possible.
