About the job

Pedagogical Assistant/Assistant for a permanent 32-hour position at Ulsted Village Arrangement mainly for school and DUS as of 1/12-2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Ulsted Village Arrangement consists of Kindergarten, School and DUS. The school has teaching from 0th to 6th grade and sends students to Gandrup School, which is located 5 km away. The school has about 75 students, of whom about 45 children attend DUS 1 and 2, and the kindergarten is normed for 30 children. In our Village Arrangement we are about 25 employees, a department head with a deputy position and a school leader.

Our size and structure make us close to the children and close to each other, and the proximity is part of what is special about our village arrangement. We work closely together in professional learning communities with a focus on open and data-based collaboration with the students' learning in focus.

Our core task is to create development, learning, well-being and formation for all our students. At Ulsted School and DUS we all work with CPS (Collaborative and Proactive Problem Solving), as part of the school’s daily life.

In Ulsted DUS there is a development focus on implementing Aalborg Municipality’s quality markers for good leisure education. This process you will actively be part of; here we will discuss and develop quality in our offerings together, where an important part of the work in the leisure-educational practice is that children gain experience with participating in binding and creative communities across ages . We focus on creating star moments for all children, so that they with a smile on their faces experience being part of a community.

We have an active and participating school board as well as a support association, all supporting the development of our village arrangement with all children’s development, well-being, learning and formation in mind.

Ulsted Village Arrangement is located on two sites, which are close to each other. On both locations we have fantastic physical surroundings both indoors and outdoors with space for many different activities. A strength for us is our community, which we enjoy and strengthen through joint events, excursions and theme weeks.
