About the job

Are you a doctor with a passion for orthopaedic surgery and a desire to develop hands-on experience with acute orthopaedic patients?

We are seeking colleagues for unclassified full-time positions as of 1/12. The position is fixed-term for one year.

About the position

The primary function will be in the emergency department in Aalborg as a junior on day- and evening/night shifts. There will be on-call coverage from 8-22 on weekdays.

The position is ideal for doctors motivated for orthopaedic surgery who wish to qualify for an introductory position. Experience with acute admission or orthopaedic surgery is an advantage but not a requirement.

The position is also suitable for post-intern doctors waiting for their main specialty training.

Doctors who are seeking an evaluative KBU will not be considered.

We expect that you

  • Have completed Danish KBU and obtained the right to practice independently.
  • Are motivated for orthopaedic surgery
  • Are engaged, curious and willing to learn
  • Are willing to take responsibility – and speak up when you are in doubt
  • Have a good sense of humor and contribute to a positive and collaborative culture

What do we offer?

  • A position with focus on learning, development and professional progression
  • Close contact with experienced colleagues – with a flat structure and a good atmosphere
  • Possibility of attachment to a research project

You will become part of a busy but well-functioning environment with many learning opportunities – and with support along the way.
