About the job

Our long-standing IPS- and employment consultant has chosen to seek new challenges closer to home. Therefore we are looking for a new colleague who is passionate about creating job and education opportunities for young people and believes that everyone can succeed with the right support.

In Ungeløftet we are seeking an engaged and professionally strong young guide with experience in corporate engagement and IPS. You will be a central driving force in our business-oriented work and will have an important role in collaboration with companies, psychiatry, and the young people we support on the road to education and employment.

About Ungeløftet Ungeløftet is part of the Municipal Youth Initiative (KUI) and is anchored in the Youth Center at Greve Town Hall. We are 24 engaged employees who work with young people aged 15 to 30 years.

In the house, young guides, school and education counselors, employment advisors, social workers, professional coordinators and management work closely together to create holistic interventions for the individual young person.

We work recovery-oriented with a basis in the young person’s resources, hope, and possibilities. At the same time we continuously develop our services so that they match the needs we meet among the young people. Therefore we are looking for a colleague who thrives in an organization in development and who sees opportunities rather than limitations.

Your primary tasks As a young guide in Ungeløftet you will, among other things

  • Proactively identify, establish and maintain collaborations with companies to create job and education opportunities for young people
  • Work according to the IPS method and support young people with mental health challenges in obtaining and maintaining employment or education
  • Provide guidance and sparring to employers and ensure close follow-up on established programs
  • Support the individual young person through hands-on and individually tailored interventions
  • Work closely with the treatment psychiatry and other partners to ensure coherent interventions around the young person
  • Hold conversations, develop plans and document the interventions in relevant professional systems
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of our corporate/work-placement efforts and collaboration with businesses.

The work takes place both in the Youth Center and out at companies, partners, and in the treatment psychiatry.

We imagine that you

  • Have experience with business outreach work and employment interventions oriented toward companies
  • Have relevant educational background and experience with young people who have complex social, mental health or health-related challenges
  • Preferably have knowledge of or experience with the IPS method
  • Are skilled at building relations and meeting people with respect, belief in their possibilities, and a focus on their resources
  • Are proactive, curious and creative in your approach to task solving
  • Thrive in multidisciplinary collaboration and can navigate between different professional perspectives
  • Work in a structured and systematic way and know that good documentation and registration in the professional system is important documentation
  • Are robust, reflective and professionally well-founded
  • Can translate the young person’s resources and wishes into concrete job and education opportunities.

At our place you get

  • A meaningful position where you make a difference for young people every day
  • Great influence on the development of the corporate-oriented initiative
  • A strong multidisciplinary environment with high professionalism and good collaborative relationships
  • Dedicated colleagues who help each other and foster a good working environment
  • Thorough introduction, ongoing sparring and good opportunities for professional development
  • Flexible working hours and the possibility of home office by agreement
  • An active staff association and social activities across the center.

The position is 37 hours per week. Evening and weekend work may occur to a limited extent.

Salary and employment terms Salary and terms of employment are set in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and the principles of Ny Løn. Before employment, a child and criminal record check will be obtained, where the law requires it.
