Become part of Blåvandshuk School and Miniclub in Oksbøl – centrally located with short travel time to Esbjerg, Nørre Nebel and Varde.

Would you like to make a noticeable difference in an age where children are curious, imaginative and full of drive? We are seeking an educator for a combined position at Blåvandshuk School and in Miniclub (SFO). The position is 30–37 hours per week and is split between Miniclub and the work as a school educator in the lower primary (grades 0–3). Start date is 1 January 2027 – preferably earlier if possible. Miniclub has about 130 children in grades 0–2.

You will be the adult who creates security, sparks curiosity and helps friendships, play and learning along the way. At the same time you will have a varied everyday life with wonderful children, a strong collegial community and fantastic surroundings:

• Meaningful relationships: You take a central role in the children’s daily lives and see them develop academically, socially and personally.
• Play, learning and imagination: Children aged 6–9 meet the world with curiosity and energy – and give you plenty of opportunities to create activities that excite.
• Variation in the workday: You work both at school and SFO and can bring your pedagogical strengths into play in different contexts.
• Nature as a collaborator: Forests and green areas are just outside the door and provide plenty of space for play, movement, learning and outdoor life. In our lower primary we have a well-functioning outdoor school where the children spend an entire day outside the normal timetable.
• Colleagues who lift together: You become part of a committed and supportive community with room for sparring, humor and new ideas.
• Strong local support: Engaged parents and an active local community collaborate and back the children’s daily life.

You help create strong relationships and give the children the courage to learn, try new things and be part of the community. Together with colleagues you turn good ideas into action. In Miniclub and at the school we create activities both indoors and outdoors with a clear pedagogical focus on well-being, development and participation opportunities. As both an SFO educator and a class educator you have the opportunity to see the whole child and create coherence between teaching, breaks, play and leisure. You will be part of a team that plans, develops and solves tasks together.

Blåvandshuk School is located in Oksbøl, has two streams from 0–9 grades and a branch school in Janderup. We are about 75 staff who actively use the local forest and green areas for play, learning and outdoor life. Inside you will meet inviting and updated surroundings that support a safe and inspiring everyday life.
