We are looking for a leisure-time education enthusiast (re-advertisement)

Do you like play and movement, adventure and role-playing or introducing children to a technological world through film or music, then you are certainly the educator we are missing.

We are seeking a participatory educator who together with the children will explore the many corners of after-school pedagogy and help create new communities where the children can immerse themselves and develop curiosity and creativity through play and workshops.

We would like you to be a team player who is good at planning and implementing educational activities for the weekly plan, to work both independently and in collaboration with other colleagues. But also be adaptable when everyday life requires it.

If you can see yourself contributing new ideas to an established culture that embraces good traditions, a healthy view of children, and a well-considered pedagogy with room for development for both children and adults, then there is a place for you in our staff group.

Job facts

• The position is 35-37 hours per week
• As a rule, your workday ends between 16:00 and 17:00 each day
• You will have after-school program duties with the children every afternoon
• In addition to the hours in Engelsborg School's after-school program, you have 8 lessons per week at Engelsborg School
• You will participate in planning at weekly house meetings, general meetings and team meetings
• You have a fixed pool for both school and after-school program preparation

Facts about Engelsborg School's SFO

Engelsborg School's SFO is an after-school program with 340 children, and is located at Engelsborg School in Lyngby. We are 20 permanent staff members who, through collaboration, strong professionalism and healthy humor, work to create a good leisure life for the children.

Our children are distributed across four houses

• Acacia House with children from the A-track (four classes)
• Pile House with children from the B-track (four classes)
• Lind House with children from the C-track (three classes)
• Trækronen House with children from the D-track (four classes)

The houses are located in four different places on the campus, but share a common playground. We have a shared facility with the school but also our own rooms with workshops and access to the gym hall plus a multi-hall. Engelsborg School's SFO is located close to beautiful natural areas and near Grønningen (a green area inviting ball games and play), so we have ideal opportunities to engage the children outdoors.
