Who are we?

The Day Surgery at Randers Regional Hospital consists of an experienced and dedicated team with:

22 operating room nurses, 6 permanent daytime surgical anesthetic nurses, anesthetist nurses from the central operating room and 3 service assistants.

We have a strong mono- and multi-disciplinary collaboration and help each other throughout the day’s program. We have high well-being, a good learning environment and a common goal: To give every single patient safe, efficient and professional treatment.

We receive both children and adults for elective surgery. Primarily ASA 1–3, within orthopedic surgery, gynecology and abdominal surgery.

As an OR nurse in Day Surgery you perform perioperative nursing within all specialties, and in addition you also have reception duties and one weekly workday in the observation and discharge ward.
