We are looking for a field service technician for the surface treatment industry

We are busy and need a few extra hands to service our customers in the surface industry

Clemco Denmark is seeking a field service technician who has good technical understanding and is service-minded, independent and a team player. We are an exciting company with many different customers within the construction industry, wind energy, metal processing and surface treatment.

You will among other things work with the following tasks

You will become part of our service department and thus part of the team responsible for service and maintenance of shot blasting machines, sandblasting plants, metallizing plants, spray pumps as well as setup of advanced robot systems. We service all types of machinery for surface treatment at all kinds of customers; from smaller blasting cabinets at the local blacksmith, to large shot blasting machines at some of the well-known Danish industrial companies.

• Travel for service tasks for repair and maintenance at industrial customers mainly in Jutland and Funen.
• If you are interested, we can offer service and installation tours abroad. Travel in connection with installation tasks usually lasts up to two weeks at a time.
• Coordination of warranty and repairs of customers' equipment in collaboration with our suppliers.
• Preparation of service and maintenance proposals for our customers after technical review of the plants.
• Preparation of smaller service reports and follow-up on repair times and spare parts sales. We will train you thoroughly.
• Workshop tasks in our department in Skanderborg.

Your profile

We are looking for both new young talents as well as more experienced colleagues with lots of experience in service and maintenance of machines.

• Craftsman-trained and preferably within iron and metal, mechanic, industrial electrician, agricultural mechanic or contractor mechanic
• Solid knowledge of both AC and DC electrical installations and the ability to independently fault find on 24 V DC and 400 V AC systems
• Technical prowess and good problem-solving
• Driver's license for passenger car
• Speaks and understands Danish and good knowledge of English and/or German
• Good collaboration and communication skills
• Good understanding of customer care and service
• Very flexible with regard to tasks and not afraid to roll up your sleeves

Our field employees

There is a lot of independent work, with high customer contact and a workday with many challenges, just as there is a lot of variation in tasks. You will perform many of your tasks from the service vehicle, which is equipped with tools and spare parts.

We place a strong emphasis on providing practical support to our people out on assignments, so they have the opportunity to talk to a “lifeline” when there are problems that require support from home. Therefore, our entire technical department is ready to provide assistance when required. These tasks are always given high priority and are dealt with immediately.

Workplace and hours

The workplace is Niels Bohrs Vej 40, 8660 Skanderborg, and we work Monday-Thursday from 07:00 – 15:00 and Friday from 07:00-14:30.

Salary according to qualifications. We offer pension and health scheme as well as 5 vacation days.
