Are you a trained pedagogue and eager to help create a safe, acknowledging and development-oriented everyday life for our lovely children. While you are passionate about designing the educational learning environments, this might be you we are seeking.

About us

Hobbitten is a small, cozy nursery with two groups and a total of 24 children. We are part of the integrated daycare, Bryghuset and Hobbitten, where we work closely across the buildings to create ”Et Fælles Vi” – for the benefit of both children, parents and staff. We are in the process of building our little house so that it becomes a nursery with a physically good learning environment and good daily rhythms.

In the coming period we have a particular focus on developing the physical learning environment and strengthening the relational work between children and adults. It would therefore be an advantage if you have knowledge of – or experience with – Marte Meo as a pedagogical method and want to work with the arrangement of the physical learning environments.

● create safe and stimulating frameworks for the children, where well-being and development go hand in hand

● develop our physical learning environments and interior design so they support play, calm and learning

● work with the Marte Meo method as a pedagogical approach in relationship work

● focus on the reception of children and parents, so everyone feels seen and welcome

● actively contribute to the academic community and collaborate closely with both colleagues and management

We are looking for you who

• is a trained pedagogue and would like to work in a small nursery
• is professionally reflective, curious and present in the meeting with the children
• has an interest in Marte Meo and a desire to work with the physical settings and learning environments
• thrives in an environment with open dialogue and contributes to a positive and caring working environment where everyone feels seen and heard

We offer

A small, cozy nursery with dedicated colleagues who are passionate about their work and who have close daily collaboration, where we work to create well-being and development with the children at the center. You will have close collaboration with both the deputy head and the day-care manager, where there is room for ideas, sparring and development.
