About the job

Juliane Marie Center

Are you engaged in men's well-being, and would you like to develop knowledge, initiatives and collaborations? Are you curious about communities, and do you perhaps have experience with a younger target group of men? Do you enjoy working innovatively, independently and in a structured way?

Forum for Men’s Health is looking for an employee who can contribute to our current partnership with TrygFonden and our ambition to ensure communities and increased well-being for more men.

We are looking for you who are willing to enter into collaborations with relevant actors and test new concepts in practice. You must also be familiar with knowledge work and be able to assist with, for example, surveys, evaluation and dissemination.

You will join the overall team in a small NGO, and your tasks will at times be very diverse. Therefore you must both work independently and be in close dialogue with Forum for Men’s Health leadership, the team and collaborators. We help each other, so an energetic and engaged approach is necessary.

The tasks consist of

  • Develop and initiate well-being initiatives for defined target groups of men
  • Prepare and obtain relevant knowledge for use in the Forum’s work, through qualitative and quantitative studies, as well as knowledge collection from research articles and databases
  • Develop models and methods for dissemination and education through, for example, teaching relevant partners
  • Teach, hold workshops and give talks to larger or smaller gatherings
  • Create external collaborations for use in the work

•

  • Carry out a broad range of tasks in a small organization where no task is too small for anyone

We imagine that you

  • have experience with health-promoting knowledge both in theory and practice
  • have experience with target-group specific initiatives, preferably with men as the target group, e.g. from civil society, municipality or health service
  • have experience with both oral and written communication, e.g. through teaching
  • have a relevant academic education within social or health sciences
  • have experience with project work
  • have experience in planning and conducting qualitative and quantitative studies
  • are open to collaboration and can drive things forward and take your own initiatives
  • are structured, finish things and deliver results
  • have a positive attitude to work, are flexible and inclusive
  • wish to engage in close collaboration with colleagues to find solutions to challenges related to men’s health and well-being

You are employed at Forum for Men’s Health, with a secretariat in Østerbro, Copenhagen. We can offer flexible working conditions. The formal employment will be at Rigshospitalet, which houses Forum for Men’s Health.

The job is announced with start on January 1, 2027, the position is initially fixed-term for 2 years with the hope of extension.

The application deadline is Wednesday, November 11, 2026. Interviews will take place Monday, November 16 with a possibility of another interview Friday, November 20.
