About the job

We are growing and glad that we can search for two project nurses for a permanent full-time position with employment as soon as possible and no later than January 1, 2027.

The Department of Cancer Treatment at Rigshospitalet is among the country\'s leading research-active cancer departments. Clinical drug trials are an integral part of our treatment offerings and give patients access to new treatment possibilities while contributing to the development of future cancer therapies.

The Clinical Research Unit (KFE) supports the department\'s sponsor-initiated and investigator-initiated clinical studies. The unit is the central platform for conducting clinical trials and collaborates closely with physicians, researchers, the pharmaceutical industry and other partners. We conduct phase I, II and III trials, and our daily work includes preparation, planning, execution and completion of the trials.

We are 39 employees (research nurses, research coordinators and assistants, bioanalysts, secretaries, service staff and a physician). We all work with clinical trials of new and known medicines for adult cancer patients. We have a dynamic everyday life where we together ensure high quality, good workflows and a healthy working environment.

We can offer a job in a versatile daily life with tasks of both clinical and administrative nature and with professional development opportunities within clinical research. There is a high degree of flexibility and independence in everyday life. You will, together with other project nurses, take responsibility for several different trial protocols. Your workday will be characterized by a large variety of many different tasks.

You will follow the patients in their participation in clinical drug trials in collaboration with physicians and other professional groups, from inclusion, planning of the trial course, reporting data to external partners, until the trial is completed. At the same time you have the administrative overview that the trial is conducted in accordance with the protocol, applicable guidelines and quality requirements.

You would ideally have

  • experience as a project nurse
  • oncological or hematological experience
  • a solid clinical experience
  • outpatient experience
  • good English skills
  • experience with Sundhedsplatformen and a flair for IT in general

In addition we value that you

  • are good at planning your workday and completing what you set out to do
  • have the desire and ability to work both independently, across disciplines, in a structured and goal-oriented way
  • have personal drive and are a positively engaged employee
  • have knowledge of clinical research and Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
  • experience with project management

KFE is open every weekday from 8:00 to 15:30, on Fridays 8:00 – 15:00. Depending on the individual projects, there may be tasks and professional meetings after 15:30.
