About the job

We are growing at Syrenparken – and you will have the opportunity to shape both your professional expertise and your working life

Are you professionally curious and passionate about using your nursing expertise in a multidisciplinary environment? Do you like working with people who do not always fit into the usual boxes, and are you motivated to make a real difference in citizens' lives and quality of life?

At Syrenparken we are looking for nurses who want to bring their clinical and relational expertise into play in a rehabilitative effort for adults with mental health vulnerabilities.

At the same time, from week 2 we are introducing a new work plan, where you will have the opportunity to express preferences between different shift types and weekend rotations. We aim to create greater flexibility and a better balance between work life and private life.

The work plans are arranged in dialogue with the employees and with regard to individual preferences, the citizens' needs and overall operation.

”I experience that I can really use my professional skills here – both in the relational and the clinical. I’m allowed to work with the whole person, and it makes me clinically curious every day.”

Employee at Syrenparken

Who are you?

You are a trained nurse and focused on creating development in the citizens' lives through relationships, health-related knowledge and a holistic approach.

You thrive in a multidisciplinary environment where we collaborate on a coordinated, rehabilitative effort, and where your professional expertise contributes to creating coherence between the citizen's physical, mental and social needs.

You have an eye for both clinical and relational work. You can observe, assess and act on changes in the citizen’s health status, and you want to share your knowledge and engage in professional sparring with colleagues across professions.

You are motivated by a everyday life where tasks are varied, and where professional reflection, collaboration and development are a natural part of the job.

Who are we?

Social Center Lillebælt – Syrenparken is located in Børkop near the train station. We are a highly specialized regional residential facility for 43 citizens with mental health vulnerabilities.

We work multidisciplinary with nurses, social and health care assistants, occupational therapists, pedagogues and social workers distributed across three units with their own professional profiles.

Unit 1 – rehabilitation and participation

Focus on development and active participation in community life with among other things dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and a trauma-informed approach.

Unit 2 – rehabilitation and stabilization

Focus on arousal regulation, conflict management, relationship work and cognitive approaches.
