About the job

We are looking for a mature, stable and engaged person for a small, flexible job with Liam at 9 years old in Solbjerg, south of Aarhus. 💙

Perhaps you are a student with study days or days off in your calendar, retired, on flex jobs, or already employed in a position with evening or night shifts? Maybe you work as SSH, SSA, pedagogical assistant, or have another background where you work with people and would like to supplement your income with some extra hours?

So maybe you are the one we are looking for!

We are looking for a person who wants to become part of Liam’s everyday life and help create safe, fun and good moments together with him.

👦 Who is Liam?

Liam is 9 years old and lives in Solbjerg with his mother and his 14-year-old sister.

He is a happy, fun and very active boy who loves to play, laugh and have fun. He especially enjoys ball games, and football is a clear favorite. ⚽️

Liam is nonverbal, but his language is developing. He understands most of what is said to him and already uses several individual words such as hello, yuck, mom, dad and yes .

He is a very social boy who wants to be in contact with others. He is full of care and love and gladly shares hugs, high fives and air kisses. ❤️

He loves most animals, and at home there is also a large, kind dog who is 7 years old. 🐶

Liam is also an active boy, who at times can have difficulty assessing boundaries and danger signals. Therefore, he needs an adult who can be proactive, keep an overview and create safe frames around him.

There will also be care tasks associated with the job.

🌱 Who are you?

We imagine that you

✅ At a minimum have experience from the specialist field , e.g. with children or adults with special needs. You do not need to have a specific education, but it is important that you have experience working with people who need extra support and care.

✅ Are mature, stable, responsible and present.

✅ Want to get to know Liam and build a safe relationship with him.

✅ Can create security through structure, predictability and clear, caring boundaries.

✅ Want to play, be active and follow Liam’s initiatives.

✅ Can work independently, take responsibility and keep an overview – even when things move quickly.

✅ Are attentive to Liam’s needs and can prevent situations where he could get hurt.

Your experience can come from work as SSH, SSA, pedagogical assistant or another relevant role within the specialist field. You can also be a student with relevant experience.

The most important thing is that you have experience from the specialist field, are caring and want to make a difference for Liam. A specific education is not required.

🕒 A flexible job with few hours

The position is for about 8-15 hours per month , and the hours are arranged continually according to need and in dialogue with you.

There are therefore good opportunities to adapt the work to your other daily life.

Shifts can, among other things, take place

  • During the day , when Liam’s mother has appointments or activities she needs to attend.
  • In the afternoon , where there is a need for cozy company and good moments with Liam.
  • On weekends , where, by agreement, there may be a need for some nice hours with Liam.

You do not need to be available to work on fixed weekdays every week. The hours are arranged continually, so we can, as far as possible, take the family’s needs and your calendar into account.

Therefore, this could be an obvious job for you if you have study days or days off occasionally, work at odd times or simply want to supplement your current job with a few extra hours per month.

🤝 You will become part of a small team

You will become part of a smaller team around Liam. You will, however, as a rule be alone with Liam during your shifts , where you are responsible for creating a safe and good experience for him.

The team collaborates to make everyday life fit together, and the shifts are coordinated continually according to the family’s needs.

🍴 And of course we are happy to arrange some lunch or dinner if hunger arises in the middle of the fun. 😊

💙 Does this sound like something for you?

We are looking for a person who wants to become part of Liam’s everyday life and contribute with presence, security and good experiences.

If you would like to supplement your everyday life with a flexible job where you can make a real difference for a child, we would love to hear from you!

Feel free to send a message with a little about yourself, your experience, and why you think the job could be for you. 💙
