About the job

We want a daily life in which we, together, develop our learning environments for all our 95 children in the age group (0th–9th grade). We are a school where we develop academically and work with approaches within calming pedagogy, mentalization and similar. We focus on keeping our special educational “toolbox” up to date. We want a school where we share the tasks around the child, where difference gives strength, where there is room to think big, presence and lots of humor.

We are seeking 1-2 school pedagogues for the special department and the after-school program (SFO) at Mølholm School.

The children in the special department and SFO all require extensive, specialized support. This concerns a group of children with specific difficulties and extensive cognitive impairments, but we are primarily dealing with children J.

A characteristic of the daily routine is structure, predictability, recognition, and close guidance. The children have different needs in daily life and one of the needs is help in changing rooms, meal times, and personal hygiene. Furthermore, it is the school pedagogue’s responsibility to participate in and lead the teaching of “our” children in close collaboration with the teachers. As a school pedagogue you will also be part of the SFO team in the special department. The staff work to create a smooth transition from school to leisure with various activities inside and outside.

• Are a trained pedagogue.
• Are focused on supporting and developing the child’s personal and social development.
• Can take part in a wide range of subjects in close cooperation with the teachers, including swimming.
• Can work in a structured way with pedagogical action plans.
• Engage in a flexible and development-oriented school where pedagogical practice is most important.
• Are interested in and motivated to further develop the good leisure offer in the afternoon hours.
• Have ambitions on behalf of the children and can see opportunities for the child.
• If you have special interests that can be used in our special school and SFO, please write that down (illustrate if possible).
• Appreciate a good laugh with colleagues.
• Have experience with close, good, and constructive parent collaboration.

Salary

The expected starting salary for full-time, excluding pension, is DKK 34,409 / falls in the range DKK 34,409 to 40,089 depending on seniority. Please note that final placement, including collective agreement basis and salary level, is determined based on your education and qualifications and the specific offered position.

Terms of employment

Employment is offered according to the collective agreement for pedagogues at day care institutions, after-school programs, clubs, etc., §§4-9. This is a permanent full-time position with start on January 1, 2027.
