🌟 About Børnehuset KastanjeGården

KastanjeGården has a nature- and movement-oriented profile with four rooms: two kindergarten groups and two toddler groups. We are normed to 67 children and host a strong and diverse team of educators, pedagogical assistants, pedagogical helpers, students, a pedagogical leader and a person responsible for the dietary area.

As a youth worker at Børnehuset KastanjeGården, your work tasks will consist of

• Refilling paper dispensers in the house, in the kindergarten, in the toddler unit and in the kitchen
• Refilling sponge cloths during washing in the toddler unit
• Wiping and washing with soapy water, cloakroom, toddler unit and kindergarten
• Putting clothes in the forgotten clothes hamper
• Sweeping sand from the cloakroom for the toddler unit and kindergarten
• Wiping off in the staff room, near the kitchen and window sills, emptying the trash bin
• Removing cobwebs from ceilings in the staff lounge and staff toilet
• Wiping in the back room by the office, window sills and shelves
• Washing toys from the rooms
• Sorting laundry as needed
• Wiping at the entrance/vestibule, shelves and tables.

Salary and employment terms

In accordance with the applicable collective agreement between KL and the negotiating organization.

Criminal background check

Upon employment, a criminal background check will be obtained. Employment is conditioned on the background check having no remarks of significance for performing the specific position

Child certificate

When employed in roles involving work with children and young people, a child certificate is obtained. Employment is conditioned on the ability to obtain a child certificate without remarks.

Fredericia Municipality is a tobacco-free workplace.

This is a position of up to 6 hours per week, and can be applied for from age 13.

Start date 1 November 2026 or by agreement.
