We are looking for new substitutes for day, evening, and night shifts .

Experience in the care and welfare sector is not a requirement, but clearly an advantage , especially if you want to quickly start working more independently. If you don't have experience, we will ensure you are thoroughly introduced to the tasks.

You may, for example, be a student, be on a gap year, have experience from the care and welfare sector or simply want a flexible job where you also make a difference for other people.

Welcome to Virumgård

Virumgård is a lovely nursing home with about 110 residents distributed across three wards, House A, B and C .

We are located in green and sheltered surroundings with paths and green areas around us and only a few hundred meters from Sorgenfri Station.

It is easy to reach here by train, bus and car. With the light rail you can get off at Lyngby Station and change to the train, where Sorgenfri is just one stop away.

At Virumgård we take pride in putting the person at the center . We structure our daily life based on residents' needs, wishes and lives and work to create a daily life with safety, presence and quality of life.

The more flexible you are regarding wards and shift types, the greater the possibility there will generally be for shifts.

This is what you need to be able to do

To become a substitute with us you must be able to take a minimum of 2-3 introductory shifts in a row on weekdays between 7:30 and 15:00 .

That also applies if you subsequently primarily want to work in the evening or night shift.

We place a high priority on a good introduction. You must have the opportunity to get to know our residents, colleagues, workflows and systems so you feel safe and well prepared before you start working more independently.

How quickly you are ready for independent shifts depends, among other things, on your experience and competencies.

Experience is not a requirement to apply with us, but it is a clear advantage if you want to start with independent work quickly.

What will you be doing?

As a substitute, you become an important part of the residents' daily lives. Your tasks will include:

• care and nursing
• practical tasks
• help and support around meals
• activities and companionship with residents
• relevant observations
• documentation depending on your competencies and tasks

Of course you won't be alone. We ensure you are introduced to the tasks and know who to turn to when you need help or professional sparring.

Do you want to work at night?

We also are looking for substitutes for night shifts.

At night there are fewer colleagues at work, which places greater demands on independence, overview and responsibility. Therefore we expect that you have relevant experience from the care and welfare sector if you wish to work night shifts.

We assess with you whether your experiences and competencies fit the task.
