About the job

Do you want to contribute to governance and development in a large and complex government ministry area with major societal tasks? And would you like to help realize our ambitions of a modern, reliable and dynamic group?

About the position

We are seeking two skilled and ambitious academics for tasks within corporate governance, including among other things financial management, follow-up on the ministry area’s IT project portfolio, cross-cutting analysis and project work, and security and emergency preparedness.

The tasks will be composed based on competencies and needs, but will as a rule be linked to parts of the office’s task portfolio:

  • Management of the department’s finances
  • The group’s financial framework
  • Development and follow-up of governance concepts
  • Follow-up on the IT portfolio, IT milestones, coordination with the IT Council
  • Cross-cutting analyses and projects
  • Security and emergency preparedness in the department

The tasks are often carried out in collaboration with colleagues in the department and our other authorities within the ministry area.

You will quickly gain broad and independent responsibility for your tasks, and you will become part of the central decision-making processes around the operation, development and governance of the group.

We offer good development opportunities and great flexibility, so you can balance professional ambitions and private life. You will receive a structured introduction program as well as a program with relevant competence development.

About you

You can either have a couple of years of experience or be a recent graduate – the most important is that you have an interest in and a desire to work with corporate governance.

To be successful in the job, we expect that you

  • Have experience with or an interest in working with a broad range of governance tasks across diverse authorities
  • Work independently and take responsibility for ensuring that tasks are completed
  • Can ensure progress in several cases at once
  • Can communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
  • Can collaborate with both internal and external partners

You may have an academic degree in, for example, political science, economics, public administration or similar, but your educational background is not decisive.

Corporate governance

You will become part of an ambitious, engaged and professionally strong team that works closely with the ministry’s top management. It is a team where we all share the tasks, where we meet our goals and deadlines, and where everyday life is built on collaboration and good collegiality with room for laughter, sparring and good conversations in the busy daily routine.

The Office contributes to a broad range of tasks to support the department’s leadership. New tasks regularly arise that need to be solved, and in the near future there will, for example, be particular focus on security and emergency preparedness, business development in light of new technology and governance of the financial framework.

Will you help shape the future?

Knowledge shapes the future, and in the Ministry of Research, Education and Digitalisation we work to create value in society through excellent education and research. Digitalisation is part of Danes’ daily life and the world, and in the Ministry of Research, Education and Digitalisation we must also be Denmark’s strategic eye on digitalisation, so Denmark can be a digital frontrunner tomorrow. With us you will be part of an ambitious workplace where skilled and engaged employees contribute to an environment characterized by collaboration, well-being and results.

Salary and terms of employment

You will be employed as a clerical employee or a senior advisor in the Ministry of Research, Education and Digitalisation’s corporate group under the collective agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Akademikere i staten (AC).
