About the job

Would you like to work with information security and GDPR in the Agency for Palaces and Culture and thereby contribute to increasing data security both in the agency and across the Culture Ministry's institutions? So, the opportunity is now, as we in Corporate IT in the Agency for Palaces and Culture are seeking an employee for a temporary position until the end of 2027.

About the job

The Agency for Palaces and Culture has an important task of ensuring compliance with the requirements for state authorities within information security and personal data protection. We solve tasks that are aimed both internally at the Agency for Palaces and Culture and at the Culture Ministry's department and the 19 state institutions in the ministry's area.

We are looking for a new colleague who would like to work with information security and GDPR at the organizational level, and who is strong in coordinating, driving and developing processes. You do not need to have extensive subject area experience, but you must have drive and a desire to learn about and develop in the field. The position has a focus on administrative tasks, but you will have plenty of opportunities to dive into heavy, professional projects.

You will, in close collaboration with colleagues, play a key role in the administration of tasks that strengthen the agency's and the corporate group's ISO27001, NIS2 and GDPR compliance, including:

  • Internal activities in the agency, e.g. awareness campaigns, user controls, reporting to the IT security committee, etc.
  • Planning and execution of external activities, e.g. network meetings, inspections and orders in relation to Culture Ministry's institutions
  • Establishment of a management system for new and existing AI and cloud solutions
  • Development of IT preparedness, as well as handling vulnerability reports and security incidents
  • Conducting risk assessments, supplier management and supervision

Information security is a rapidly developing area that has management's attention, and you will therefore in daily work be in close dialogue with both the IT manager and the agency's leadership.

We offer

We offer an exciting and dynamic workplace with engaged colleagues, where professional development is at the forefront. We work together as a strong, well-functioning team with many different professional backgrounds and place a high priority on knowledge sharing and peer learning, so you will never be alone with professional challenges. If you do not come with strong competencies in the area, we will offer the necessary training through collegial sparring.

In addition to information security and GDPR, we in Corporate IT also work with operations, maintenance and development of the agency's and a number of corporate shared IT systems in the Culture Ministry's area. Corporate IT thus has touchpoints throughout the Culture Ministry's group, which besides the agency and the ministry consists of 19 institutions such as The Royal Theatre, The National Museum and The Danish Film Institute.

We are 25 colleagues with very different backgrounds and experiences. We are organised into three teams, and you will be placed in the Corporate Team, where your colleagues, in addition to information security and GDPR, also work with operation and development of IT systems used at Culture Ministry's institutions.

About you

You take initiative, ensure progress, and have the ability to create structure in everyday life. We emphasize that you have good collaboration skills and are a skilled communicator in writing and speaking.

We envisage that you either have an academic background or an office-related education. But the most important thing is that you have the professional and personal competencies needed to succeed in the position, and that you are able to grasp a complicated and extensive case area with many facets and close attention.

Employment conditions

The position is temporary and applies to the period January 1, 2027 to December 31, 2027.

As a general rule, this is a full-time position of 37 hours per week. However, there will be an option to arrange part-time employment if you wish.

The Agency for Palaces and Culture is generally an on-site workplace with occasional possibility for remote work.

Employment and remuneration are carried out according to the applicable agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the relevant organization, with a classification and pay dependent on qualifications and experience.

It is a condition of employment that you can obtain security clearance, and that you can maintain the security clearance during employment.
