Accounting Consultant (Accounts Payable) to Regnskabsservice

We are looking for a dedicated accounting consultant for Accounting Service, part of Accounting and Finance in Corporate Economy in Region Zealand. From the turn of the year we will merge with Region Capital Denmark and be consolidated into Region East Denmark.

Accounting Service primarily services the Region's hospitals and psychiatry as well as cross-cutting administrative centers with their bookkeeping. We also help and advise the social and self-governing institutions in Region Zealand. We work, among other things, with robotic processes to solve standardized bookkeeping tasks, so we can be experts on everything else.

In addition, we are involved when improvements to the financial system are developed, and with helping to form the new Region East Denmark; there are also a number of development tasks. We are a total of 10 in skilled and approachable colleagues in the creditor team with many exciting tasks and a total of 25 people in Accounting Service.

The tasks

• Accounting tasks, including
• Posting, bookkeeping, reposting, follow-up and reconciliations
• Follow-up and controls in the accounting area
• Consultation and sparring to our partners and suppliers
• Telephone and written handling and servicing of our partners and citizens in the region
• Various administrative (ad-hoc) tasks

Your personal qualifications

• You have experience from a public sector organization and preferably experience with posting and follow-up
• It is an advantage if you are familiar with regional chart of accounts and VAT handling (but not a requirement)
• Good at case handling, i.e., can map a case and find possible solutions
• You work independently with the tasks, as well as contribute to the team's overall goals and to the good collaboration with your colleagues in Corporate Finance
• You are interested in contributing to the optimization of work processes and find it exciting to make administration efficient and simple
• You are service-minded, proactive and able to follow tasks through to completion.

Salary and terms of employment

The position is filled on collective agreement terms and according to the Ny Løn principles.

Expected start date 1 February 2027

Your workplace will be in the Regional House in Sorø, and there is the possibility of remote work.

Area of employment

Region Zealand and Region Capital Denmark will become Region East Denmark on 1 January 2027 as a result of the health reform. Your area of employment will be Region East Denmark with all associated organizational units.

Starting salary for employees covered by a collective agreement

The region is obliged to inform you about the starting salary for the position. You will be informed of base salary, centrally fixed allowances and pension in the relevant collective agreement. In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include any negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.
